SAVE THE TWINS! Bikers Really, Really Like Boobies
Submitted by theboss on Thu, 11/10/2011 - 11:58am.By Tim Anderson
Bikers really like boobies, there’s no question about it.
In Colorado Springs, they like ta-tas so much that they were throwing money at ‘em on October 2nd. Lots of money.
Now, in itself, bikers tossing out bucks for boobs isn’t that unusual—why else are there strip clubs? This October 2nd thing was different though. Bikers shelled out $22,500 for those lovely lady lumps in a single afternoon. It was a hooray for boobies kind of day.
Cops Suffer Biker Beatdown

By half time, the ass-whippin’ appeared to be on.
To the 1300-plus fans in attendance, the law enforcement squad looked to be over-matched…or perhaps under-motivated…for the 32nd annual flag football matchup against the Pueblo Bikers United gridiron gang.
When the final seconds ticked away two quarters later, the cops squad limped off the field a battered bunch, recipients of a 49-28 thumping in the 32nd annual PBU Toy Bowl.
The Biker win evens the series record for the autumn classic at 16-16. The game is the longest-running event of its kind in the nation.
...And The Blood Flowed
Submitted by theboss on Thu, 11/10/2011 - 11:34am.Blood flowed again at Sun Harley Davidson in Thornton, Colorado.
This time it was to the tune of 40 pints—enough to help up to 120 people who might need it.
“We hold this blood drive every year around the end of October,” said Sun spokesman Duane Akiama. “We get Bonfils Blood Center out here and our HOG chapter puts together the chili cook-off. Over the years it’s just become something we do, and it gets better every time. We had a pretty good crowd again this year, and the great weather we had just helped s little more.”

After six years, Emily’s Parade has become much more than a big motorcycle ride into Colorado’s Front Range Mountains.
Make no mistake, this ride born out of senseless tragedy in September of 2006 is still a big motorcycle ride into the mountains, but it is now firmly entrenched as a regional cross cultural event, and because of it, pink is one of Colorado’s autumn colors.
Four Corners Biker Rally Rules Desert, Mountains & In Between
Submitted by theboss on Thu, 10/06/2011 - 9:38am.Colorado’s Four Corners Region is still home to some of the best motorcycle rides in the west. That was proven again over Labor Day Weekend when around 15,000 riders poured into the area to ride and party as part of the Four Corners Biker Rally.
Motorcycles prowled from the high country of the San Juan Mountains to the scorching deserts of the Hovenweep and the Navajo lands beyond.
Make no mistake; the weekend was all about motorcycles in the Four Corners.

Submitted by theboss on Thu, 10/06/2011 - 9:18am.By Joe Maher
The first weekend after the 2001 9/11 attacks, Bikers United For America (BUFA) in Colorado Springs came to life. With its origins in the long-established Colorado Springs United Run, it was an almost effortless move for the group to hold a memorial ride that first time ten years ago. The same thing happened all across the country in cities large and small.

Tuesday, September 11, 2001 started out as any other normal workday might have, but, as we all know too well, that particular day became anything but normal. That day America was attacked, and September 11, 2001 will always be remembered as the day that changed the world.
Vets Ride For Vets

On Saturday, September 10th, a first, and very unique, motorcycle ride took place in Colorado Springs.
Six motorcycle clubs, all of them military or veteran-oriented, came together in an example of think globally, act locally for the common good. The result was the first “Veterans 4 Veterans Run.” The run was designed to raise funds for the Crawford House Veteran’s Home in Colorado Springs.
All’s Quiet At Summer’s Last Campout…
Submitted by theboss on Thu, 10/06/2011 - 9:00am.Camp is quiet at sunset at the Sugar Pine Rally North of Mancos, Colorado, over Labor Day Weekend, the last significant event of the Colorado riding season. It was the calm before the storm—er, party--though, as the ranch came alive after dark. The Sugar Pine Ranch hosted roughly 3500 bikers during the annual Four Corners Biker Rally, which saw an estimated 12,000 to 15,000 motorcyclists swarm the Four Corners Region over the Holiday weekend.

Cripple Creek/Victor Region of Colorado has been known as many things during its rich history. From Pike’s Peak goldfield, to Boomtown, to the largest and richest city in Colorado, to ghost town to quaint mountain village to gambling Mecca.
