All too often, the average motorcycle show is dominated by high-end, highly customized machines out of reach of the average rider, While these are always fun to look at, and provide inspiration, they naturally muscle out the average bike owner.
That’s where the annual Mile High Harley Davidson motorcycle show stands out from other shows.

Faced with a few organizational problems, the 285 Veteran’s Rally found a way to overcome the obstacles, and pulled off a great little event in Conifer, Colorado, August 23, 2009.
“The place where we were going to hold the rally backed out while we were up in Sturgis,” explained Mark Miklos, one of the event organizers. “Jason McSwane stepped up and arranged to at everything his place. It all worked out pretty well. I think it went great.”

Chopper culture is alive and well in Denver. Not the chopper culture some older road dogs remember, exactly, but an evolution of that mindset, adopted and marked by a younger generation. This generation has kept the core idea of chopper culture, and is putting their own indelible mark on it, while paying homage to the lifestyle pioneers.
That was evident at the Third Annual Love Thy Chopper Art & Culture Show held at La Rumba at 9th & Acoma in Denver June 27 & 28.

Every once in a while an event comes into everyone’s life that asks you to drop everything and dedicate yourself to it for a while.
That’s what happened this past winter and spring to Denver members of the Patriot Guard Riders and some airbrush artists at Rat Art in Englewood.
SFC David Ezell, a member of an Army explosive ordinance Disposal unit, was killed in action in April 2008. The Patriot Guard Riders attended SFC Ezell’s funeral, paid their respects and moved on.

Well, the secret’s out. It’s pretty clear that bikers like animals more than they like a lot of people. Proof of that was on display June 14, 2009, at the Third annual Molly-Dharma Run for Maxfund.
Kindness & Generosity For Erin At Bushwhackers
Submitted by theboss on Fri, 07/03/2009 - 11:32am.They know how to have a pretty good party at Bushwacker Saloon on South Broadway.
Bob Holoway and a team of big-hearted volunteers put together their Third Annual Erin Gerloff Benefit Poker Run June 28, and had a great time doing it.
This was quite an affair, too.
The registration fee got you breakfast at Bushwackers starting at 9am. With all the bikes on the road by 11 or so, the pack spread out a little, making stops at the Squeeze, Rocky Flats Lounge, and Spurs before motoring back to Bushwackers. It was a nice little tour of the city on a fine day to be out on a motorcycle.

Some things are just too good to let fade away. That’s why Old School style motorcycles are celebrated everyday at Deluxe Motor Company in Wheatridge. But the guys at Deluxe celebrate just a little harder at their annual Old School Bike Show each summer.
This year, the fourth annual event took place at the shop, just like it always does. The big difference this year was that on June 27th much of the parking lot was filled with bikes and bikers for most of the day.

Despite the gloomy predictions, Weather Gods scoffed at the prognosticators, and granted the attendees an almost perfect day for the Third Annual Pueblo Biker Bash. The event, while not as large as some, had something to offer that is very rare in today's commercialized world: this event was for those who ride, about those who ride and most importantly, the organizers of this event showed their appreciation to those who ride and attended.

Making a Merry Christmas takes a lot of effort, and it starts early. On May 30, the work was, well, a pleasure, and calling it work really isn’t appropriate.
Unless peeling off clothes is work.
