Get In The Colorado Show & Swap Program!

The Colorado Motorcycle Show & swap is coming up fast, and once again Southwest Scooter News is publishing the official guide, program and map to the largest indoor motorcycle event in the Rockies.

“We’re pleased that Jack and Jimmy like what we do in terms of creating and distributing the guide for the show every year,” said Scooter News production and advertising manager Michelle Shannon. “That we’ll be doing it again for the 2012 show makes us happy. I think people who go to the show have come to expect it from us, so we try to make it as relevant and all-inclusive as possible. That’s what we’ll do again this year.”
The program & map has, in fact, become more than an expected supplement to Scooter News. It has grown to become an expected and sought out part of the show.

“We print a lot of them…thousands,” Shannon said. “And we never have a lot left over after the show. For a lot of people it’s an important part of their show experience. The map and schedule alone make it easier to get around and take advantage of what the show has to offer.”

From that perspective, it’s an important tool for vendors at the show. With nearly 20,000 people expected at the January 28 & 29 event--along with a few hundred vendors there hawking their wares, the program & map is a great way for businesses and organizations to make themselves stand out from the crowd and attract the attention and customers there’re looking for.

“The program is a great tool for getting people to notice you, “ Shannon said. “That’s important for any business. It’s a big reason we publish the program. It helps the vendors market what they’re doing, and people who come to the show count on it to find what they’re looking for.”

Vendors can be included in the 2012 program & map, and have their location highlighted on the full spread map, by contacting Scooter News at 303-202-6866 or by e-mail at advertising@scooternews.net.

Rates are very reasonable, and the exposure is great, with thousands of copies being distributed with Scooter News, which has the largest motorcycle publication distribution in the state--and the region, before the show.

“People will have time to look and see what’s going on at the show before it happens, and they’ll be able to refer to the program all weekend,” Shannon explained. In addition to offering vendor advertising, the program also features short stories about show activities and different items or services being offered by various vendors. Sometimes there’s some really cool stuff available at the show, but it might be overlooked. If we’re able to include it in the program, it’s less likely they will be overlooked.”
