9th Anniversary At Mile High Harley

Birthdays are always such fun. That’s why at Mile High Harley-Davidson they go out of their way to have a great party to celebrate theirs every year. This year was no exception.
The Aurora, Colorado, dealership celebrated its 9th anniversary with an open house and another of the good parties they’ve become known for. A couple thousand of the dealership’s closest friends took advantage of the hospitality…or was it taking advantage of one more good party…and flooded the dealership from noon to 5pm on September 26, 2009, to be a part of what was, in fact, another good party.
Black Water did a great job of belting out tunes all day, while there was a steady supply of food, beer, and other good stuff to be consumed by anyone who wanted some.
The gals put together a rather popular motor clothes fashion show during one of the band breaks, and helicopter rides were available throughout the afternoon.
Naturally, there was what has to be termed the “unofficial bike show” in the parking areas. There was no bike show per se, but with more than 1000 bikes parked around the place, strolling through the rows of idle chrome and paint was a show unto itself with an incredible display of bikes to be ogled. Of course, Mile High rolled out some of their bikes—from new 2010’s and 2009’s to an impressive selection of used bikes.
If all that wasn’t enough for you, the Party Bus was on hand, too. This rolling party joint generated a lot of attention, and prompted conversation and daydreams of a pretty rowdy road trip for more than one visitor.
The weather even cooperated. After a week of gray, wet, dreary skies, the sun shone brightly all day, allowing for shirt-sleeve riding, sunburns, and one more day of soaking up summer.
Yep, by all accounts it was another pretty good birthday party.
